Normally, I’m not much of a citrus fruit person. Like, at all. But, there’s a plethora of oranges invading the fruit bowl at the moment. And…I get to eat it in a bowl full of creaminess! Who doesn’t love a bowl full of creaminess? Behold!
Yes, now look into the bowl. Look into the bowl full of creamy goodness.
Now you do! That bite is just waiting. (Well, actually it’s gone now.) But here’s how to make it!
Coconut Cream Oranges
- 2-3 oranges, peeled
- 1/2 cup Agar Cream (I use Katie’s recipe, but you can use a vegan cream instead)
- 1 T water
- 1/8 tsp coconut extract
- 6 drops of liquid stevia (or 2 tsp sugar)
- very small dash of salt
- cinnamon for sprinkling
- Optional: shredded coconut for topping
In a blender, mix the agar cream, water, extract, sweetener, and salt. Now, in a bowl place all of your orange chunks, and pour the cream all over. Sprinkle some cinnamon, and you’re done!
